Happy Birthday Madison

Hey everyone,
Next weeek is my good friend's birthday and I wanted to make her a card. Since she loves to shop I decided to go with pink and a model on the front. I used the cartridge Forever Young to cut out the model and the words ooh la la.

I used:
  • black cardstock
  • pink and white zebra striped paper
  • black brads
  • hot pink ribbon
  • Forever Young Cricut cartridge

KELSEY

Hello Everyone,
This project that I constructed has taken me about a month to do.  I've created my name in chip board letters and covered them in scrapbook paper and gems. I also used buttons, glitter glue, and cloth flowers.  To attach the paper and flowers I used a glue stick and for the ribbon on the side I used Modge Podge.

This is the final product!

Hope you like it,
Kelsey

Spring is Here.....

Hello Everyone,

This weekend I created a topiary for my room.  I used flowers that I cut out from my Cricut machine.  To cut these flowers out I used the Forever Young cartridge.  The paper I used came from the Martha Stewart Playful Blue Paper Pad.  I also used the Cuttlebug for the solid colored paper (light blue, bright blue, neon green, and yellow).

This is a photo of the styrofoam ball when I was just starting to put the flowers in.
This is when I was close to being done, but not quite yet.
 Yahoo, All done!
This is a close up of one of the flowers.
Final product!

The materials I used:
  • Martha Stewart Playful Blue Paper Pad
  • solid card stock (light blue, bright blue, neon green, and yellow)
  • green and blue buttons
  • pins with pearl beads
  • a decorative tin can
  • dowel rod
  • shredded paper
Hope you like it,
Kelsey

Kid's Craft Blog Hop

 Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the Kid's Craft Blog Hop hosted by Jen at Purple Scrapbooker. We are glad you could join us today. You should have found your way from Star at Star's Paper Passion.

This is Georgiana from Carson's Cricut Creations and I would like to introduce someone very special. My daughter, Kelsey from One Creative Teen, is participating in the Kid's Craft Blog Hop. She has made a special project for today.

Hi. This is Kelsey and I am going to tell you about these pillows I made for my bed.

I found this silky material at Joanns on sale (or my mom would not have bought it!) and I just had to have it. It is blue like two of my walls.
I sewed the fabric together with my sewing machine that I got for Christmas about two years ago.

Then I stuffed them with Polyester Fiberfill (fluffy filling) that my Dad bought me.
I tried to make a round one, but I need to practice a little more. :)
Lastly, I tied blue tulle around each pillow.
I sure do like how they look on my bed. I think they match my comforter perfectly!

I even have a small prize if you leave a comment. I know it is not much, but I don't have a good paying job since I am a kid. I will even make a card for you! : ) Take a look at my other  projects if you have a chance. I sure do like to make Disney cards.
I hope you enjoyed my project. Please head over to Celeste at C.C.'s Cards and Crafts to see what her children made.

Thank you for visiting,
Kelsey

Here is the line-up if you need it.
